This page explains, in plain English, what Breakwater Surface Co does with information you send through this website.

What we collect

When you use the quote form, we collect the details you choose to provide: your name, phone number, email address if you give one, suburb, information about the concrete area, and any photographs you upload.

You are not required to upload photographs. They simply help us understand the surface before an inspection.

Why we collect it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, to assess whether resurfacing appears suitable for your concrete, to prepare a quote, and to arrange an inspection or the work itself.

We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to marketing lists from a service enquiry.

Photographs you send

Photographs are used to assess your enquiry. If we ever wanted to use an image publicly — for example, to show a completed project — we would ask you first.

Analytics

This website may use basic analytics to understand which pages people find useful, such as page views and general location at a city level. Any analytics tool used is configured for aggregate reporting rather than identifying individuals.

Storing information in your browser

The Before You Decide page lets you save sections for later. Those saved sections are stored locally in your own browser using local storage. They are not an account, they are not sent to us unless you submit an enquiry, and you can clear them at any time from that page or by clearing your browser data.

Third-party services

This website is hosted by a third-party provider, and enquiry information submitted through the form is stored using that provider's infrastructure. Where a third-party service is used, information is handled for the purpose of operating this website and responding to enquiries.

Protecting your information

We take reasonable steps to protect enquiry information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No website can guarantee absolute security, so please avoid sending sensitive personal information through the enquiry form.

Access, correction and questions

You can ask us what enquiry information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the contact details on this website to make that request.
